20. Something less about being human, you would like to express?
This question was only used to explore the possibility of using the body as an abstract form. Although it is very relealing about my approach and the work I often make, commonly described as very human.
I feel the abstarct movements that every contributor made were created "that please or satisfy you" were definitly effected by this question. Abstract movement has a very specific meaning to those that work in dance, to those from outside of dance abstract seemed to naturally connect directly to their emotions.
The contributors were asked to explore abstract movement towards the end of the day, after being asked many deeply personal questions. To me this means I created a massive bias in the process. A tendency towards the body and dance as a means of expression, as opposed to a less explicite entity of form and dynamics moving through space and time.
